New Filofax Personal layout - week per page

I was surprised (when I had cause to check) that Steve and I hadn't yet made a Personal size week per page layout for A4 printing. So here it is.

Note that this is based on the Cotton Cream layout. It is simple and uncluttered and doesn't disrespect weekends.

You can download this layout as a prepared set or you can download the source files to adapt the design for yourself.

Pre-prepared sets

You can download the 2012 set as a Word file or as a PDF file.

You can download the 2013 set as a Word file or as a PDF file.

Print this double-sided. If you have a duplex printer, set it to flip on the short edge. If you don't then you'll have to print odd-numbered pages and then refeed to print the even-numbered pages on the reverse. You might have to experiment to find out how to refeed the paper.

On one side of each sheet you'll find crop marks. Use a craft knife and a steel ruler to release the Personal pages and punch them. The templates are set up with mirrored gutters to accommodate the holes.

If using the PDF be sure to set it to print at full size as explained here.

Source files

You can also roll your own using our source files. You'll need this Word file and this Excel file.

If you want to know how to go about using the source files, this post will help you.

Hi, your blog is amazing and you've gone to such lengths to create these templates for which I will be truly thankful if only I could figure out how to print them!! I have an A5, Personal and Pocket and have tried to print the calendars but they are just not happening for me! I'm not getting them in sequence when I print - what am I doing wrong??

I've no idea. What exactly are you doing and what exactly are you getting as a result?

I have no odea either! I am using Office 2010 (if that helps) and the 'booklet' form it uses makes everything move out of line, it is really frustrating!!

I have managed to make my own monthly one and print it direct onto A5 which was the only way I could see to do it :(

Now I'm struggling with the Pocket size time management one - one side doesn't correspond with the other....it must be something I'm doing!

Can you be more specific? What do you mean by one side not corresponding with the other? Is it upside down, for instance or just misaligned? If it's misaligned, in which direction? Are you using a duplexing printer or manually refeeding sheets? Are you using the pre-merged file or merging yourself with the Excel data source?

When I print (manually using duplex) the weeks don't have the next week on the reverse so when I cut them up to put in, they don't run in sequence. I have tried using the word format and the pdf and it goes wrong on both.

OK, gotcha. So you're manually refeeding sheets through the printer? Well, what you have to do first is print all the odd-numbered sheets. Then reverse their order in the pile, turn them over and put them back in the tray, printing all the even numbered pages on the back.

Ok I'll give it a go tomorrow for my pocket one, yours are so much better than Filofax's! Thanks again x
